Hi,

I'm new here. I just bought and install Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. On first launch, I thought that the game was broken so I asked for a refund but I carried on testing and it appears that what I thought was a malfunction is in fact horrendous loading times.

On clicking on "New game", the loading screen stalls during 3 minutes. The second loading screen lasted 5 minutes. It takes me 3 long minutes to quit the game.

My computer specs fit the recommended ones for that game, unless I've overlooked something:
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
- Memory: 8192MB RAM
- DirectX Version: DirectX 11
- graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 3 gB

Is there any way I could fix this problem? Are there updates to come?

I contact Ninja Theory about that; I'm waiting for their answer.

Don't know, what your PC does ... when i start Hellblade, it takes about 15 seconds to get through producers commercial and reach the main menue.

Then i click on "continue" and i'm in the game after about 10 to 15 seconds. This is for my PC one of the fastest games loading.

Same with quitting - takes seconds to get back to main menue and from there end the game in about 5 seconds.

So i have to guess, this has nothing to do with the game itself.

It was probably their RAM and graphics card.

What about your hard-drive?

Anything mechanical (especially 5400rpm) is really slow for loads, especially when compared to SSD's.
