ETA on the Update? Is Bloodrite planned to release today on GOG as well? And what about the installation process - on Steam it was mentioned we'd have to uninstall and redownload the game again; will this also be the case when using GOG Galaxy?

Wouldn't GOG Galaxy just overwrite everything?

Normally, yes. But Zan mentioned that a new folder called 'Hedon Bloodrite' would have to be created, which is why - at least on Steam - a fresh installation has to be performed.

EDIT: I was surprised myself, I don't remember any other game requiring this. Then again, I can't think of many games that have their sequel released as a free update!

I'm actually not sure how it will happen on GOG. It could be a complete override here. Guess we'll find out in 1 hour :^)

Thanks for the update! I'm really looking forward to the release! And I've actually been holding off on starting the game because I didn't want to start over after the update, so now I'm all the more eager to get to it! :D

"I will dedicate some effort to marketing Bloodrite around, since my future projects and decisions depend on how much revenue this release will bring. But for this, I need to wait and see how things go, I will at some point discuss my future plans for Hedon and my other game ideas with you guys."

I think I also remember a post from quite a while ago where Zan said the next game in the pipeline probably won't be related to Hedon, but I'm not sure if that's still the plan.
