It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

trusteft: Ok, so, just to clarify.
1. I am 61% in Method in Madness. If I upgrade it means I am down to zero in that?
2. Do you recommend finishing it and then patching?
3. How exactly should I proceed with the patch. Just download the new files and install over the previous installation without uninstalling the previous, or something else?

F4LL0UT: Sadly Method in Madness seems to be broken in the original GOG release and you may not be able to finish the scenario without updating the game first. Also as far as I'm aware the progress counter will probably remain at 61% but you will not be able to continue the game from that checkpoint and have to manually restart the scenario, effectively resetting the progress counter to 0%, yes.

As for the patch, that depends on how the GOG installers or Galaxy handle things but the game itself should work fine after simply replacing it with the new version. The progress that's compatible with the new version should remain intact.
Thank you, downloading now and I will install over the previous installation. I would be more upset with the whole thing but I like this game so much, you get away with it this time! :p

sd1612: So after a 10gb download it now says "151118_1413_release_pc_64" in the bottom right of the title screen, does that seem correct?

F4LL0UT: Yes, you're all good. That's the gold master version that should have been released here day 1.
So is this version 1.1?
Could you make it so the title screen shows current version?

1.1 is the patch for the version you have now. I think we will get that here today.
Problem

I installed the new version over the old. I ran the game and yes I was now running the proper version shown by the proper numbers in the main menu.
Today I just tried to play the game and in the main menu still had the old version instead of the new.
WTF?
wtf is going on lol

I copied the shortcut that was created with the new installation, to a folder of shortcuts of games I have on the desktop.
They were both targeting the same executable of course, in the same installation folder.
Yet, when I try to run it with that, it runs the new version.
Or at least that's what the number on the main menu says.

I hope when the patches are released we won't have to "go back" again.
I am confused by an 11GB install on Galaxy and yet the manual download files come to about 8GB!

The manual download is approximately 5.50 GB now and the Galaxy install should also be trimmed down a bit :)

1.1 patch is out, check your game shelf. :)
Patch 1.3 is supposed to be out tomorrow night, when will we even get 1.2?
