Hi all,

Does anyone know how to get the user made extensions?
I'm very afraid that Steam is ruining the modding community again by making these extensions available for Steam players only.

I've already checked ModDB and IndieDB but there are no mods/extensions uploaded so far.
I've also tried some tutorials on how to get Steam Workshop mods without owning the game on Steam but none of those worked for me.
Does anyone know if there's a working method?

THE EXTENSION ARCHIVE
This is the Extension Archive, a collection of most Hacknet Extensions listed in this topic. Got interested in an extension from the list above? It's probably in here!

This archive will be updated from time to time and contains most of the extensions listed here as individual downloads and from the collections. Each extension can be individually downloaded. They have been named and dated for easy use, the names also include the numbering system as introduced by FrankPR07. In this archive old versions of extensions will be available too.
At the moment there are some extensions missing as I haven't found time to find the correct names of all extensions in the first Extension Collection (I've been investing 3.5 hours in updating this post haha). If anyone wants to help to find the correct names to their corresponding numbers, feel free to jump in.

Hi there everyone, I can only apologise by the fact I had absolutely no idea that you guys on GOG couldn't access the Steam Workshop Content, so I thought I could help you guys out. For the Extension stuff, you just need to basically dump everything in the zip file straight into a new folder in your Hacknet Folder. (I popped a README.txt in there for a little more help on that)

Hahaha lol. Ah thanks man! It means a lot. Yeah like I'd said I'd almost entirely forgotten that GOG was like a whole separate community. Really hope you guys enjoy! Though my personal advice. Don't fail, there's a few... bugs... per say... Hacknet is a bit annoying when it comes to them and I just haven't been able to fix all of them, really sorry in advance to any of you playing it later down the line!

If anyone else has collections, I've made a separate section for these. Let's not forget to thank the developers for making these, you can find the name of the collection in the Intro file of each mod. :)

Sadly I haven't had much time for a good play-through of the last added extensions. I'm looking forward on continuing Hacker Wars again, I've played the first bit and got quite existed. So far I can highly recommend playing this extension! :D

Hi all,

It's been 3-4 hours of work but after 6 months I've updated the main post completely.
1 hour of work lost... I wanted to add links to the names of the creators so you would be able to see all the work of the creator directly. I had to scratch all of that as the GOG forum didn't allowed me to post it. Too much text I think.

Anyway I managed to put as much information into the first post as I could.
Many thanks too all contributors and of course the devs of these extensions!

I've read on the Sakura Steam Workshop discussion page that the developer of Hacknet, Matt Trobbiani, as made the Steam Workshop publicly available which would enable specific downloaders for all extensions. Users have however reported that it still doesn't work. Might be something to keep an eye on as community.
