hi, i already followed the answer to solve a similar problem for previous games by setting the fans in bios to heavy usage, it works but GOD starts up to 20 or more degrees already when only running the main screen and this seems a little bit high for comfort.

compared to other more graphical heavy games this flash kinda game seems to overuse resources.
i cant adapt fans more so these settings will have to do.

Lords Of Xulima only goes as far 57 degrees celcius (differs 7 degrees) during a fight with monsters, normally when exploring it uses almost nothing, so compared to a flat card based game, the game is lighter on cpu/gpu usage.

There's lots of posts about adobe air using too much of everything, i know simple flash also like to heaten things up but this is quite a lot.

I also know the story about ambient temps, but that would only remove 5 degrees celcius, so it still would be high
for something that looks so light.

I have the exact same problem. A solution would be nice.

Improved framerate: 60FPS!

During the last six months of working on the mobile version of Guild of Dungeoneering we've had to do a LOT of optimising of the game to get it to run smoothly. Fortunately the way we've done it has meant we get those performance improvements for the PC/Mac version too!
