However I am playing with keyboard and mouse and don't know what equivalent keystroke it wants. Why would it just show controller prompts?

If you are where I think on keyboard is L, only K and L are used apart from WASD

Thank you for that anwser, I was stuck on the same thing. And the action is not listed in the Keyboard menu, only jump and the block. Singing seems to be hardcoded to L.
