Wonder if anyone has a solution. Tried turning off cloud sync, but no help. When GOG is online, it can take up to five minutes for Grim Dawn to launch. Disconnect from internet, it takes five seconds.

That doesn't happen for me--but the "cure" is simple: just find the game exe in the GD x64 folder, right-click, and send a shortcut to your desktop and always launch the game from there--bypassing Galaxy, bypassing Internet. OTOH, what *might* be happening is that Galaxy is trying to update your game version, and you keep stopping it before it can finish. At any rate, whatever the cause, it is not something that happens normally with the game.

Thanks, Walt!

P.S.

Actually, that only worked the first time! Then it went back to the same old problem. However, I did manage to solve the issue permanently.

The cure is to go into the \Grim Dawn\video directory and rename both files that are there. Cured permanently..
