I'm new to the game myself, but did a little browsing - perhaps this is interesting for other people, too:

There is an unofficial page with information regarding the Great Battlesand lots of custom scenarios: http://www.ianm1.plus.com/index.html.
Haha, "Battle for Gondor". Thanks for the link, man.

I saw "Battle For Gondor" on the list of additional scenarios from great-battles.com. But when I go to that site, I can't find any scenarios. Where are they?

Here's a download link for that scenario:

Before i buy I'm interested to learn more. Does anyone have a link to some video footage of the game, youtube or otherwise?

Thanks for the link. Looks like I have to take closer look at that web page. And before playing additional scenarios I guess I better learn to play the game properly :-).
Thanks for the link. Seems very deep and trying to simulate realistic conditions which is a big draw for me.

I loved the Total War games but I stopped playing them after Medieval Total War.
Interactive Magic/iMagic released demos for all three games. If you have any of their games on CD-ROM, you probably have at least one of the demos.

The Great Battles of Alexander and Hannibal Demos are still available from FilePlanet:

I had seen those, too - unfortunately the downloads don't work (the files seem to have been taken off the server).

Yep, your right. Looks like the all scenarios on that server are having issues. I remember downloading these years ago. I'll have to check my cds sometime.
I still have the files for the four scenarios that I did for the Wargamer 13 years ago (Pydna, Mons Gropius, Antiochos and the Elephants , and Field of Crocus). Willing to share. Pydna won their prize that year.
Hi Lashworth,
I would like the scenarios that you have created. My e-mail address is j.m.boyd@telus.net
Thank you very much for sharing the scenarios....

Yes, please put them up on Dropbox or something for us to play with. Thank you!
