Yes, that link works. What didn't work that I had started with was the individual GB of Caesar link--endless loop. Perhaps it is symptomatic of the problems that appear to have resulted from the unbundling.

I haven't heard anything back yet. Did the older installer include the scenario editor/player? Because the current one does not contain a working version of that.

Yes, it appears to affect any game with a different game id than what is offered to buy on GOG. This includes all unbundled games.
This I don't know.

I can also confirm Caeser is crashing for me as well on Win 8.1. It used to be okay but really upon unbundling and galaxy it starts crashing.

Just got this, thank goodness for a forum post giving the information.

Really think GOG should fix this as its been quite a while since the original posts.

Anyway have sent off my crash enquiry and will see when I get a response back, disappointing as I really wanted to play Caesar :)

I wrote support but they just told me that they tried it on Win10 and it just didn't work, they marked it as not compatible with Win8 and 10, even though I told them that people reported that it might have to do with the installer, so they won't fix it.

This just won't do. If I wanted a crashing game I would have just installed my original disk version and not bought the gog version.

This issue exists with the original game and doubt they can fix it. The game runs great on Win98 though. ;)
