I have immediate crash after the intro video. Anyone having success running this game now? It did well enough under Windows 7 but seems broken under 10.

I have had problems will all of the games except Alexander. They play the intro then don't play anything else. They are running in the background but not advancing.
Same here, after the intro, the game executable runs in the background but it has no window. Please fix this, I'm using windows 10.

Ditto on Great Battles of Caesar. Haven't tied Alexander or Hannibal. Caesar plays intro video, then vanishes.

Neither Roller Coaster 2 nor Great Battles of Caesar will work under Windows 10!! Is this the end of GOG??
Roller Coaster Tycoon: Deluxe seems to work under Windows 10.
I have success on windows 10 with the old installer and installing the patches from
www.ianm1.plus.com/html/patches.html
and then the patches from
www.ianm1.plus.com/html/great_battles_new_version.html

Could you post some steps and do you have a link to the old installer? I want to know this is definitely Windows 10 compatible before I buy.
Copy and paste the url and download the patches. In the directories of each game paste the patch of the same name. Then double click on the patch and it should overwrite the game executable. Once done go to the second link. The patch is down to the bottom of the page. Extract the patch to a directory and copy the executables over the executables the patch from before made. It should then work. You have to ask for the old installer from GOG support.

No, but it might be the end of Microsoft. :)

Ok, I can confirm what groundup236091 said: success in W10 64 with:

1.- Old installer setup_great_battles_ce_2.0.0.16
2.- Patches from www.ianm1.plus.com/html/patches.html
3.- Patch from www.ianm1.plus.com/html/great_battles_new_version.html
4.- Starting each game with the exe (caesar.exe, etc) and NOT from the desktop shotcut

I can play even caesar with no crashes :)
After completing steps above, if you haven't got a CD-ROM drive, you may get a message something like "Insert CD for single player or play multiplayer without CD". Just create a virtual CD drive. Start the exe. If it doesn't work mount any iso and try again. It will work like a charm.

Thank you so much. I've been wanting to play Hannibal and Caesar for ages but only Alexander worked till now. :)
You are most welcome, mate.

Remember to turn off the "center on active leader". It also can cause crashes.
