And the DX11 renderer for G2 here: http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/threads/1445581-D3D11-Renderer-f%C3%BCr-Gothic-2-%28alpha%29-16?p=24532308#post24532308

The tip for Win10x64: In order to avoid repetitive DXGI_device errors that stop & restart the video driver, set up the Gothic2.exe compatibility options as shown in the attachment...! I am using the 15.8b Catalysts (have no idea whether this applies to nVidia gpus, sorry.)

I have no idea why this works while still rendering the game in 32-bits, but it does. I found one other game that requires this as well...Post Mortem.

Applying this simple fix completely solved the crashes I was getting w/ the 17.1 D3d11 G2 rendering package. The game has never looked or played this well. Have fun!

Good! I am now on the 15.11b Catalysts and Win10x64 build 10586, and I can play the game with the 17.1 D3d11 rendering package *without* having to set the display depth to 8-bits. With the newer drivers I am not getting that error any longer.

Something about these Gothic games that keeps me coming back...;)
