So I've finally gathered up enough support to be able to enter the castle of the Old Camp in Gothic 1, as told by Diego.
However, when I go to talk to Thorus I'm not able to mention to him that I have enough support to enter. I'm just able to offer ore and mention the letter you're supposed to deliver.
I'm pretty certain this is a bug in the game, and I believe the issue was cause by me doing to test of faith prior to doing the job Thorus offers to kill the ore thief from the new camp.
This has made me unable to progress through the game. I believe I can get into the castle through other means thanks to the other camps, but I really wanted to join the Shadows. Unfortunately I have no save games prior to taking the test of faith.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I've tried completely uninstalling the game, backing up my saves to no avail.
Any tips? I really don't want to start the game over, and I'd prefer not to join a new camp if I can help it.
