The original name was Odium , was looking for screenshots to see how the original graphics looked because my first pc would run the game with the graphics that looked better then it looks now, and i saw a review and thye called it Odium, we know it as Gorky 17.

Anyway it seems the GPU is the cause of this, i think i had a Voodo card that ran the game graphics like they looked in the official game, now we have to run it in software mode making the graphics look poor.
I also wonder if the games runs ( with no crashing) on win 10.

Google: (it mentions the name Odium)

Yes, the Odium (or odi•um -- with a longevity diacritic sign above the 'o') was the original name of the project. And the game even got published in US under this name. While the european release by whatever reason had been renamed to the Gorky 17 (or GOЯKY 17 -- with russian capital 'Я' instead of latinic 'R').
There is no notable difference in graphics at all. Except for the main menu, where Odium has part of some monster's face as a background, while in Gorky 17 there's red texture with a red star instead. That's true for PC version at least. Since exists Mac version of the game called Gorky 17, which has menu background identical to the US Odium.
There were some rumors, as well, that one version of the game has few more active zones in the museum location. Levers or such. Unconfirmed, though.
You could find some misleading development screenshots over the net, which could demonstrate more detailed backgrounds of the locations or even higher resolutions. Unfortunately many of these details where lost to the moment of the release. Since the game has rather rough history of the development and had been re-tailored almost from scratch about five times.

Not sure about the early demos, but I definitely saw polish CD-version under the Gorky 17 name. Not the Odium.
