Hello guys. I have considered purchssing this game. I was wondering if it's any good and if you would recommend that I buy it?

Does it tell any sort of a good story?

Great game, but I'm trying to figure out if Sony is requiring a PSN account to play on the GOG version. If they are requiring a PSN account, that means the game isn't DRM-free anymore and isn't worth buying.

This is the first God of War Norse Era game from 2018. It does not require a PSN account to run and GOG version is DRM-Free. Any news regarding such requirement are for the second game from 2022, God of War Ragnarok. At this moment, the sequel will be released only on Steam and will require PSN account. Knowing GOG's DRM-Free policy, Sony would need to remove this requirement before releasing the game here.

I know, mate. But there was talk of Sony retroactively requiring a PSN account on their games, and I wasn't able to find information either confirming or denying this.

You can't retroactively add a PSN account login in an offline installer, the first game is safe to buy
