GOG not having the expansions is the only thing that's keeping me from buying Ghost Recon, but i really want to do this. :) Despite i already have three disc russian versions of this game with both addons. Is there any chance that Desert Siege and Island Thunder expansions for Ghost Recon will be added to the GOG?

Good question that I would like to know also. It is very odd and disappointing GoG does not have the 2 addons.
I would like to play those expansions as well. I have no idea on where to find them. I bought Ghost Recon on GOG and am really enjoying it. It would be cool if GOG included them.
I agree. As a relative newcomer to this game (first played it half a year ago) I would love to see more content and would be willing to pay for it.
I'm personally waiting until they add the expansion packs before I purchase the game here on GOG. Unfortunately this is most likely very low on their list of priorities.

I'm waiting too.
Here is all the relevant community wishlists I could find, so vote for all of them:

Might as well track down the disk versions if you really want to play these, I don’t think Ubisoft has added anything here in ages and it’s a safe bet they won’t ever again.
I can just copy the expansion files from my Steam copy to my GOG copy and it works fine. You need to own all 3 Ghost Recon titles (Main game and two expansions) though.

Copy "Tom Clancys Ghost Recon\Mods\Mp1" and "Tom Clancys Ghost Recon\Mods\Mp2" folders from a Steam copy of the games to the same path inside your GOG copy and voila.

So if you really are keen for them you can grab the 3 titles on Steam during a sale and then copy the two expansion mod folders to your GOG.com Ghost Recon install.

Yes, they're too busy adding crappy indie games and movies, to be bothered with good games worth playing. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Gold, and Rogue Spear with Expansion Packs, should also be available on GOG as well.

EDIT:
I apologize to GOG.com if it's due to a legal issue with Ubisoft, which prevents them from adding the GR expansion packs.

I confirm this also, the two expansion packs "Desert Siege", and "Island Thunder" will work if you do this. You may want to copy over the three files named: "IT Manual.pdf", "Desert Siege ReadMe.txt", and "Island Thunder ReadMe.txt" also. Copy them into your "C:\GOG Games\Tom Clancys Ghost Recon" main directory.
Ubisoft took a 360 on DRM-free and GOG so don't hold your breath guys... Cheers
I was about to get Ghost Recon at the current flash deal price of $2.49, until I read that the expansions are not available on GOG. Too bad. It seems it is better to get the game on steam.

Over a year later and still waiting for the expansion packs to show up.
