Nowhere near the likes of other first-person-shooters of it's time, Ghost Recon clearly examples the thought, planning and tactics needed for 'ghost' missions to achieve their aims. From selecting your
mission squad, choosing weaponry, right down to becoming familiar with the objective map and planning your assault -- it's all there, and you must think about it before you'll get the job done. If you don't, you and your squad will be picked off in short time....."Medic!"....
Again, the GOG team have done very well reviving this classic title, and in the process produced a release which installs and runs seamlessly under linux (and perhaps Mac), using Codeweaver's Crossover-Games product. Well done!
