Is there any possibility of a future Linux release of this game? I'm not sure how heavily dependent on Windows the game is, which is why I'm curious. If a Linux release is unlikely could you briefly explain why?

Thanks.

Why not, but right now our top priority remains to release the game in PC(Win) on march ^^ !

Cool! Thanks for keeping the possibility open. I'm sure there're others who appreciate that as well. :)

I don't suppose you have an update on this? As it's now March :)

Echoing liamdawe, any update on the possibility of a Linux release?
Any update on this? I'd just like to know if there's any plans to release a version for Linux-based systems.
Still waiting for a Linux release but I don't think it's gonna happen, which is a damn shame. I'd love to be wrong, though.

Since this game is built in Unity would it be too much to ask for a Linux version? I own the game, but cannot play it because it does not run in Wine. Too bad, because it looks like it would be fun.
I think it is maybe too much to ask a small developer for a Linux version. It is not needed, anyway. Just use Lutris to install. Runs perfectly for me on Fedora 37.
I installed Ghost of a tale on Manjaro 22.0 with Lutris Wine runner lutris-7.2-2-x86_64. DXVK, VKD3D, Esync and Fsync are enabled.
Wineprefix is prepared with these commands:
export WINEPREFIX=<path to ghost-of-a-tale>
winecfg -v win10
winetricks --force arch=64 vcrun2019
setup_dxvk install

Game works realy great with my hardware:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 4200 MHz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8 GB)

That's what I ended up doing. I had been using wine-stable from winehq with dxvk, and I had never installed or used Lutris for anything, but I ended needing Lutris to get another game working properly and figured I would give it a try for GoaT. I'm glad I did, and I'm glad it worked, because this game is amazing.

If anyone is curious, I'm using Linux Mint 20.3 with the lutris-GE-Proton7-35-x86_64 version of wine. The game runs absolutely flawlessly. You wouldn't know it's not native.
