Seriously.. First time using this app for CyberPunk and its caused nothing but problems. I've had to reinstall 5 times and im not even sure it has my save files anymore. I'm at a loss because I was really enjoying the game.

Is there something I'm missing? I couldn't import my files for the new patch( since the manual Download version wasn't working????????????).

I know this is more rant-like, but still.. ANY information to make this go more smoothly would be appreciated....

I feel you. I cannot play Cyberpunk because GOG Galaxy is a monster that destroys my PC. Had to use hardware reset twice just to get to the damn thing before it did its "magic" and purge it from autostart (which I also had never agreed to).
Now I have the game but cannot play after the most recent update because all GOG Galaxy does is hard crash my PC trying to update it forcefully.
Requesting a refund puts you on a queue that is supposed to take weeks and they use Covid as an excuse, the cheap bastages.

You may want to consider the previous version of Galaxy, if you haven't already.

Thanks for trying to help, but halfway through that very involved process I just went "WTF" and gave up. This is not how a paid store is supposed to run. Are the people who own GOG complete morons?!?! My mind is blown. I lost all confidence and respect for CDPR since they are the stooges that own this place as well.

welcome to the sad truth that is galaxy2. it is a beta client for a reason, but has been pushed on paying customers nevertheless. widespread criticism especially here in the forums has been widely ignored. the PR train is rolling through social media, like reddit and such, telling us how great the "all in one" client is.

i and many others switched to playnite for their collectors needs. for buying games i have already completely moved to steam.

it's a sad and infuriating mess.
