I've reinstalled GOG Galaxy 2.0 beta and I still not very happy about the overall UI layout.

== Main points

* The disposition of the Installed games, inside a menu, is less functional, as I can't see what I want to install, and still have under control what I want to play.
* The "All Games" menu is again confusing. The Grid is too big, the list is too small and presenting useless info. I like how the website does once you click in a game, that open a panel below the game. Here you change page, and you are presented with a less then useless "Activity" tab, "Friends" a half hidden Overview with non clickable tags, like genre and developers.
** No indication if the game is installed
* Inside the game page:
** No indication whatsoever if the game installed or not. The only indication is the "Play" button, that retains the same color of the install button. Not ideal
** The Extra tab is too bland. Writing is too small. No icons to differentiate what I'm looking at: manual, avatars, soundtracks, whatever. This oblige me to read carefully everything, before focusing on what I want.
*** Clicking to download an extra provides no feedback whatsoever. I realized I queued 15 manuals... waiting for an UI feedback.
* Recent tab, again, cluttered with useless info. I want to see what games I bought, I don't care what games other played.
** Months summary? Project manager simulator.
Installed/Not installed
Grid/List view

Have you discovered yet, that you can customize both view regarding their respective size and information displayed? List view can be made quite big and grid view quite small respectively. You can also have the game status (installed/not installed) displayed in grid view, which adds an icon for every installed games that also let's you start the game with one click.

List view currently lacks an identifier like that, which I would add as a feature request in a dedicated thread if I were you.

No indication whatsoever if the game installed or not

You say there is no install indicator whatsoever and then mention the existing install indicator in the very next sentence. Make up your mind.

The Extra tab is too bland. Writing too small.

Customizable font size would be another feature request I would recommend you add in a dedicated thread.
Font size and lack of icons are the same as on the website and are nothing new in Galaxy 2.0 though.

Clicking to download an extra provides no feedback whatsoever.

There is feedback. The Downloads tab in the sidebar gets highlighted and the counter increases.

Recent tab, again, cluttered with useless info.

If you're not interested in the data provided in this tab, why don't you ignore it? It's in its own tab for a reason.

Perhaps I don't like the UI and the options there. Smartass.
Useless fanboy.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you we're just trolling. Carry on then...
I ve made a numvlber of observations, about a new UI that will replace Galaxy 1.

I got answers like: ignore the new UI, if you don t like it.
Well no, I don t ignore it, as the aim of this beta is to collect feedback.

The icons below the game box, for installation is not ideal, immediate to understand to what game it pertains, and create gaps between boxes that is not plesant. A badge on the box, saying installed, would be ideal.

The play button is easily confused with the install button, in badly placed.

The customization options barely scratch the surface.

Understand what you read, before answering.

I did and I acknowledged some of your valid points and offered solutions to some of the others. If you don't consider them sufficient, that's your prerogative and you can say so in a civil manner.

The way you reacted instead was anything but civil.
