... which leads to:

https://github.com/FriendsOfGalaxy/galaxy-integration-uplay/issues/33

... where you find the solution:

Open the Python file "%LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\uplay_afb5a69c-b2ee-4d58-b916-f4cd75d4999a\consts.py" in a text editor.

Change line 15 und 16 to:
CLUB_APPID = "314d4fef-e568-454a-ae06-43e3bece12a6"
CLUB_GENOME_ID = "85c31714-0941-4876-a18d-2c7e9dce8d40"

Save, connect (no need to restart Galaxy), stay connected :)

Ubisoft changed the server ID, the plugin had the old values, therefore no connection. Simply change both id's to the values above.

Success thank you!
Just curious but as this seems to be a very easy fix for the end user to do why hasn't GOG implemented it officially yet ?

The dev in charge of integrating updated plugins with GOG Galaxy (FriendsOfGalaxy) went missing recently, so the Ubisoft and Rockstar plugins downloaded by the Galaxy app remain the old versions requiring workarounds.

Thanks for the fix

Cyberwasted: Ubisoft Connect refuses to stay connected. It adds and verifies, then a second later disconnects.

Any methods of keeping it connected? I'm getting no error messages or other indicators as to a cause.

This hasn't worked for me, i keep getting a "plugin has crashed" error and i'm unable to reconnect the integration at all.. Any advice?
Worked like a charm, Thank you so much!
The fix worked for me as well.
Hoping someone can help them update the plug-in.
but as the person who is currently marked as doing it is MIA, who knows where the source code is.

So, basically, GoG Galaxy is an abandoned project? If they're not going to maintain basic functionality, and just throw up their hands and give up when one employee stops showing up for work, I think I need to start thinking hard about migrating to another option. Playnight I think? Going to start looking into that I think.

Thank you! Took me more time to locate the file than it did the fix. :D works like a charm

Those plugins are developed by the community (people that decide to spend their own free time helping other people). GoG only made 3 integrations: their own platform (GoG), Epic Games Store and Xbox Live.
You can see it in the settings, those 3 are under "Official Integrations" and the rest are under "Community Integrations".
GoG Galaxy is no perfect by any means but don't blame the devs for things that aren't their fault.

Wow. No one here said the whole project was abandoned... Jesus christ "cancel culture" is everywhere, and it's such a knee-jerk reaction...
