Just got a wish list notification from Galaxy. I would like to turn this off and there does not appear to be any way to do this currently. Did I miss a setting? Is there a way to roll-back the last update?

I second this. I already check the sales and find even the browser 'notifications' absolutely useless (especially since there seems to be something there despite me clicking it away constantly). I'm willing to turn off Galaxy notifications entirely (from Windows, if necessary) if an option to turn off wishlist notifications isn't added very soon. Notifications without an option to turn them off are utterly unacceptable unless they're crucial for the software's core functionality, which wishlist notifications most certainly are not.
thats an account option with nothing to do with Galaxy

steps; log into gog.com with a web browser [not Galaxy]
under your account name select orders and settings, then goto Subscriptions and untick the ones you don't want [see images]

You can go there even from Galaxy, juck click the user icon on the top left and select "Account Management"

Yeah, but I do want email notifications, I don't want desktop toast style notifications from GOG Galaxy. I can check my email on my own time, it's not the same as shoving an ad in my face. There should be a client-specific option.
you can change how/ where Galaxy shows notifications but its all or nothing

the gog adds for fuckpuck are by project red
I don't have a solution but I'll second your complaint. I tried to avoid the galaxy update that brought this since there was mention of new notifications in the notes. Eventually it got me.

This, alone, may cause me to stop using Galaxy. I get emails about wishlist items. I don't need you to tell me in the middle of whatever I'm doing!

Precisely.
I have a solution for you: clear your wishlist :D

Yeah, haven't noticed these notifications, but sounds pretty bad.
