Tag organizing as it is right now is slow, clunky, cumbersome and ineffective.

I just spent the last 90 minutes organizing my 280 odd games. Right click, scroll through the tiny tags menu, click tag, click away, wait for the game to jump into the tags category, again and again. The main issue is that you can't select multiple games.

We'd need two things to improve upon this:

1) the ability to simply select multiple games, maybe a simple Shift+Click. Right now you can only right click a single game or left click to get taken to the game's info window. This would also be an improvement for other features people have mentioned, like installing or hiding multiple games at once etc.

2) a fast, light, tags-only window so we can just select our games and tag them en masse without having to right click each and every single freakin game individually and wait for them to move. Think of Firefox and Chrome's bookmark manager, something like that. Simple metadata editing, fast, clean, effective.
As far as I can tell, GOG Galaxy 2.0 is set to alleviate most of our issues with the current tagging system. Hopefully, of course.
Just wanted to chime in here to bump and agree with the suggestions - tags need a lot of work and it's disappointing nothing has happened from the OP yet.
Indeed, managing masses of tags is a very cumbersome task.
The filter system is also in dire need of 'and' conditions
