I always had my GOG library sorted by newest purchased being at the top and chronologically all the way down. I can't find a way to do this in the new client when looking at my library. Has this feature been removed? I feel like I'm missing something.

Yes, it is missing. One of a number of problems noted here:

Is there a person I can email that will actually have a chance of being read? I find this downgrade extremely irritating. Why remove features that people used? Especially something as simple as sorting...

On the support page, you have a "GOG Galaxy" section through which you can access feedback options, or you can use the "send feedback" option in the client itself. Either way, you end up sending feedback to support. It's likely to be slow, with all the things going on lately and how much negative feedback they're probably already sifting through.
