Hi everyone, just a shadow user here, a poor one at that, here to voice my hope :)

i enjoy gog, i enjoy pretty much everything about the app/company.

i especially enjoy that they give us free games.

BUT, i do get alittle annoyed when i try and determine if theres been added new examples.

cuz for some unknown reason, i am forced to scroll through demo after demo. and just when i think i spot one that isnt a demo, guess what, its a prologue.

so, that is all i ask, please allow me to sort away prologue, demo or soundtrack if i choose.

i fail to see a good and moral reason not to provide such search filters.

anyway, im gonna go back to not visiting the site/forum, so i probably wont respond to any reponses.
but if you agree, please show your support so we can perfect the search engine :)

happy holidays everyone.
Hello,

Feel free to vote for the many community wishlist entries on this topic, e.g.
Hide Demos and Soundtracks when browsing All Games (like you did with DLC)
Browsing for Soundtracks Etc.

Best you can do right now:
1. Go to the All Games section.
2. Click the sorting menu on the right and choose Release date (from newest) if that's what you're interested in.
3. Checking Hide DLCs and extras on the left will filter out soundtracks but also all types of DLC.
4. There's a way to hide demos, but it doesn't actually work. In the Tags section on the left, search for demo then when that tag shows up, hover the mouse over it and an eye icon will appear. Clicking it will hide entries with that tag. You'll still see a mountain of demos and prologues, because they haven't bothered to assign the Demo tag to most demos. You can set the minimum price to 0.01 but this will of course filter out free games as well.
