LiquorSauce: I'm in Canada and it wasn't working for me for 3 days.

I tried disabling IPv6 but it didn't work.
I tried switching to google DNS for IPv4 and IPv6, but it didn't work.
I tried keeping the google DNS for IPv4 and disabling IPv6, and then it finally worked.
Did all the same steps.Does not work here unfortunately.
Am I missing something ? Screenshot attached.

Note that the secondary Google DNS = 8.8.4.4 and not 4.4.4.4, Primary is correct 8.8.8.8

I to have the same problem "server problem" tried disabling IPv6, setting Google DNS and more, rebooting several times and still "server problems". So there is some major malfunction at the time being and I hope that CD project Red and Galaxy team come up with a fix on the server or client side asap.

DNS addresses obtained automatically , so I guess linked to my ISP

I have experienced the same troubles as you. Initially I thought the problem was my perimeter firewall. To test this I used the VPN client that comes with my Norton 360 AV. I live in Norway so I set the VPN region to Norway and launched GOG Galaxy. The result was the same, but I decided to test another region and changed to Sweden. Now everything works. To test some more I changed again to the UK and it works. Changing back to Norway or disabling the VPN reproduce the problem.
I have also:
1) Changed DNS to the Google DNS’ and others.
2) Disabled the IPv6 with the GUI.
3) Set IPv4 to be preferred over IPv6.
4) Disabled the IPv6 stack and all its functionality.
None of it works, except for the VPN.
I do not think this is a GOG problem, to me it feels more like a routing problem.

That was my interpretation as well, when changing the DNS worked for some people.
Either routing or badly synchronized/missing cloud servers (does GOG have centralized servers or spread servers for each area?).

I have the same problem. It's been like this for at least 4 days.
I tried the IP workarounds and I've tried using a browser in stead of the app, but no dice.
This really need to be fixed soon. The least GOG could do is issue a statement and pretend to care ...

Just bought a game and landed here because I got that problem as well.
When I click "Install", I get some waiting animation and then "Server problem" message.
I even got the "Install" button toned down after quitting / restarting Galaxy.
Considering refunding the game until that problem is solved. Will wait max 1 or 2 days.

open a command line (as admin), then type these commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset

It did not work for me. I restarted my PC after doing it. My DNS is my ISP.

My internet works fine, I won't fiddle with it.
Just Gog needs to fix its stuff.

I was also thinking about a routing issue. Tried your recipie, using NordVPN connected to Poland. Clicked installed and right away it startet downloading and installing. Installed two games when connected to Poland by VPN. Disconnect = server error message right away. I too live in Norway,

Same probleme here... and we are the 6 of november, WHEN will they fix this? They Should at least tell us what is going on ... and when it will be fixed :(

It's not even necessarily their fault (except for chosing the city where they are located). As it looks, it's ISP and DNS provider dependent.

Hello Guys,

Same problem here in Canada !

I'm from France and bought my games in France two years ago, maybe it's an additionnal problem ?

Hope they will fix this quick want to play so bad...

Love on GOG and CD team anyway
