KevinAmedy: I followed the directions at your link to disable IPv6 on my Windows 10 PC. I still get the Server Problem error on GOG Galaxy. Well, it was a nice try.

_LesserEvil: nope, it does not work
I sent your feedback to Clownski_ via chat to make sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

FallingTerror: I also have the same issue
Same here. It is very annoying
Same issue. "Server Problem" trying to install HOMM3 complete, a day after buying it.

Eastern time zone USA, Windows 11, major broadband ISP. GOG Galaxy 2.0.55 beta

Clownski_: The issue seems to be user-sided and tied to IPV6 configuration. GOG GALAXY team is currently investigating and working on a fix. Thank you for your patience.
I highly doubt it; mine started exactly the moment after I purchased some games during Halloween sale, and immediately affected the entire library.

The saves still synch, though.
Also having this issue, was able to install games fine like a month ago. Disabled IPv6 and doesn't help. Offline installers are an annoying workaround. What's the point of having a hub app for everything if you can use it to install what you own? Hopefully it's fixed soon and they have an idea of what's going on since the problem seems so widespread.

Best of luck out there Gamers.

Clownski_: Hey everyone, thanks for raising this issue. I'll pass it forward to the GALAXY team and will keep you updated on the situation.

In the meantime, please use the offline installers available in your library if you want to download a game right away. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Can we have an update ? it's been 3 days...

Clunyyy: Can we have an update ? it's been 3 days...
The update was posted yesterday and pointed to user-side IPv6 configuration as the cause. But 3 people have said disabling IPv6 doesn't help, so that seems unlikely. I wouldn't expect another update until Monday at the earliest.
For now, we gotta use the website and offline installers, sucks but at least there's this plan B.

The update doesn't work, as a) the issues started randomly at a recent point and b) disabling IPv6 solves nothing either.
Galaxy is now working again for me, since yesterday. Crossed fingers it stays this way.
Gog support suggested to changes IPv6 to google DNS.
https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
And so I did, but it didn't work then.
Not sure why the error is suddenly gone !
Hopefully, it's going to be fixed for everyone soon.
Edit: anyone with the server problem issue using bridged routers ?

Bonjour Odegam,
Galaxy maintenant refonctionne pour moi aussi depuis hier , j'ai désactivé l'IPV6 et ça fonctionne comme avant !
Il n'y a plus de "problème de serveur".
Voilà.
Au revoir.

in english :
Hello Odegam,
Galaxy now works for me too since yesterday, I disabled IPV6 and it works as before!
There is no more "server problem".
So.
Goodbye.
And now to fix some other server problems like the missing update flags, missing file information, wrong response codes and so on.

Hi all,

For me, it was solved after changing my IPv4 (not IPv6) DNS to google DNS : 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
IPv6 is still activated.

Location: Belgium.

Weird ...
I'm in Canada and it wasn't working for me for 3 days.

I tried disabling IPv6 but it didn't work.
I tried switching to google DNS for IPv4 and IPv6, but it didn't work.
I tried keeping the google DNS for IPv4 and disabling IPv6, and then it finally worked.

Which DNS service did you use before?
