Clownski_: We have now dealt with a couple of problematic IPs that the team suspects were causing the issue. Everything should be back to normal but please let me know if you're still experiencing problems!

jdfef: It works now ! Thanks to the team :)
I assumed problem was on my end first. Even threw together a pc from old parts a week ago
that I had scattered about. Fresh Windows install. Firewall whitelisted. No AV.

Still same "Server Problem" Not able to D/L any games.

This has been happening for well over a week (maybe two for me.)

Hope it gets sorted out. Downloading offline game installs from the GOG website still work perfectly fine.
I still cannot download games ...
It's stuck on an infinite loading when i click "install" (Even before downloading games) ...

I'm having the same issue but only on some games. Temporary solution (depending on the game, bc this solution doesn't work for online games) is to log into gog.com, find the game, click on the game page and download offline installer files. But as I said - online features don't work (not even game progress ) and the game also can't be updated automatically.
Update: Galaxy now works (for the most part.) I do get a server error notification once in a while.

Restart Galaxy and it usually downloads and installs fine.

Monkey Island 2 and Gray Matter always fail with Galaxy, but that's been going on for years.

it is marked in French: "la mise a jour a échoué" (in english : "the update has failed").

Help me, please.

Catventurer: Often it's only the Galaxy files that get updated (for example to add cloud saves support).
That doesn't change the fact that some games will show up in Galaxy if you install through Galaxy only.
They won't show up as installed if installed via an offline installer.

neumi5694: Which games are you talking about? I would like to try that.

I know that happens with some very old games, but I didn't experience this for years.
In the beginning, games had the wrong names in the program list, but that has been corrected a long time ago. Ever since they changed the installer structure, everything works like a charm.
I'd have to double-check, but I'm pretty sure that it happens with all bonus games. Purchase Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, you get Baldur's Gate The Original Saga (TOS) also. If you install TOS from Galaxy, it shows up as installed in Galaxy. If you download the executable from the website and install that, it won't show up as installed in Galaxy. This is where the game has a separate entry on the website.

The situation is even worse when the bonus game only shows up as a "goodie" in that the bonus game item shows up in Galaxy but not as something you actually own. If you purchase Shadow Warrior (2013), you get Viscera Cleanup Detail Shadow Warrior as a bonus game. However because it is only a goodie item, Galaxy doesn't automatically think you own it. You have the manually add the game, install it then link the executable as you would with a non-GOG game. This also means that Galaxy won't display the correct storefront item in that you got it from GOG, but Galaxy won't show the GOG icon.
Hi is good old games down? i have a game that will play but i have to run it throuh gog to update it . it doesn play under gog i have been waiting and gotten no replies on any of the support tIX i made that are all over 24 hours old. i guess this is why they ask if you want a refund?

Well, for goodies which come without their own product entry that's something to be expected. The goodie is not a GOG product and also won't get any updates, it "is as it is", to say so. It's not a game you bought. Also it won't show up in your list of owned games on the website.

Baldur's Gate TOS uses indeed one of the old installers (in my case the file is from 2014, but the version might be older) from before the Galaxy era and does not have Galaxy informations. What you can do here is to go to the Galaxy game page and say "import directory", select the directory where the game is installed. Then it will also be updated with the new Galaxy dll files.
You should not have this problem with any installers that have that 5 digit build number.

This might also work for goodies that have a old GOG installer, but most likely not for those that come packed as zip without installer.

Try writing a bugticket that the installer is outdated.

I'm also having trouble with this, I've attempted reinstalling GOG Galaxy but no dice. Now I can't even click the Install button; it's just greyed out for all games.

Fortunately I can download the full games from the website, but the Galaxy application is being completely broken and ineffective right now and I'm having to do everything manually if I want to.
