I neither want nor need a game organizer, a background running spyware/crashware/bloatware.
I want games that I can OWN. MY GAME, paid money for it, it stands alone from the crapware and doesn't need millions of delta page faults per hour to run. Steam shows 8 "browser helpers" plus itself, over 40mil. delta page faults in one hour, those are not normal memory faults, those are physical ram where the storage or retrieval failed, causing 40+mil. extra operations. Can you say use my hardware for free please ?

If you prefer standalone games without additional bloatware or background processes, you might want to explore games available through other distribution methods or from independent developers who prioritize a more streamlined gaming experience.

I want to say that Galaxy (version 2.0) is complete garbage, almost none of the features work properly. Besides that Galaxy is so 'stuttery' that you cannot even see what games you have in your library. Also, Galaxy is too complicated for newcomers because of its strange and unfriendly UI. gog Galaxy is a huge disappointment in comparison to the Steam software. Besides that Epic Games Launcher is also evolving and I can definitely see that developers made huge progress in the optimization of PC resource usage.
