If Galassy 2.0 is written in Python...

Many articles on the web report that the "Python" language is the most popular platform in "hacking" actions

GOG, can you tell us how safe it is to use python in the Galaxy2.0 against hackers?

Thanks for any clarification
GOG Galaxy 2.0 (or 1.2) is not written in Python.
If you refer to community integrations they are open sourced and anyone can review the code to see what exactly they do.
Glad to know, that Glaxy2.0 is not written in Python

But, are "community integrations" written in Python?

Yes they are, but as he said, they're also open source. So you can just verify that nothing nefarious is going on.

There's nothing special about Python and "hacking". Programs written in python aren't going to give you viruses or take your details any more than ones written in C or Java or anything. You've been duped by someone into thinking this but it's the height of foolishness.

if OP have had knowledge to review and understand code (or at least basic knowledge about programming languages) they would never ask such questions.

no, most popular platform in "hacking" is still Linux and nothing will change :)
