I turned on Steam integration just to see what it was like but I have a very large Steam library.
Galaxy crashed. I relaunched it and disconnected Galaxy from Steam, but a window at the
bottom of the Galaxy window indicated it was still processing. When it finished it had imported
all the Steam titles from my library. So I disconnected Steam linking and it removed most of the Steam games but left
many hundreds of them in Galaxy. I don't want to have to sort through and "hide" them. I want them permanently gone from Galaxy but I can't find any means to do it.

What can I do to get rid of them?
I tried completely uninstalling Galaxy with a deep uninstalling application. I then installed Galaxy 1 and then once it was installed agreed to install the update to 2.0. Once it updated it brought back hundreds of Steam games again, even though integration is not enabled. It must have stored it in the cloud or something somewhere I can't get rid of.

Please, how do I remove all the Steam linked games? There's over 700 of my 4000+ Steam games it put in the Galaxy library and there seems to be no way to get rid of them. This is ridiculous. All I can do is "hide" them but that is not satisfactory. There has to be some way to make it forget about the games it read out of my Steam library in the few minutes it was integrating previously. Is it saving this data in the GOG cloud? If I erase my GOG cloud will it forget?
There has to be a way to fix this!

Did you create a support ticket for your specific case (cog wheel > report issue) ?

Your library gets synced with gogs system, so in theory they should reappear. You could try to remove the local copy of your database in %programdata%, or link Galaxy to your steam account again, and try to "push through" till Galaxy has completed the import process, and then do a disconnect again.
Yes I filed a support ticket. They couldn't help me and referred me to make a ticket somewhere else. I think to the developers of Galaxy. So I did that and have not heard a thing back. So I am still stuck with 700 or so random Steam titles wedged into my non-integration-enabled Galaxy library with no way to actually remove them.
Got the same issue, though I'm stuck with over 13000 games in my GOG Galaxy client, causing it to crash within the first minute after startup... Did anyone find a fix for this? Deleting the integration folder in appdata didn't do nothing for me...

You have to connect using the 3rd party Steam plugin, then disconnect the plugin. This should remove the games. If it doesn't (or you can't because it's crashing), you can ask GOG support for a manual disconnect. See this link for details:

Yes, the process is understood. It is not that we do not know how it works, it is that it has not been working as described. This process fails and there's nothing whatsoever the end user can do about it as the data remains on the server. This happened at least in my case due to Galaxy crashing during the integration process. When it re-launched the integration started from scratch somehow leaving the titles (about 500 of my ~10000 Steam library titles) that it had imported prior to the crash stuck in my Galaxy account data in such a way that it would not be removed by disconnecting integration.

Fortunately after the last Galaxy beta update I was able to resolve this. Customer service informed me they were helpless to resolve the issue, that only developers had the ability to solve it and referred me to how to contact them.
I was never assisted or responded to by the developers.

Now the program works as it should even apparently through crashes.

In order to finally resolve this I once again repeated the integration process, then disabled the integration. Finally all those Steam games have been wiped from my account. I'm glad it is over, it was really annoying.
