I just tried to post a ticket to get a refund or Steam key for Cyberpunk 2077 and was told to wait FOR F-ING WEEKS!!!!
Is there anybody who can tell me how to stop the monstrous GOG Galaxy from destroying my system just by running on its own to the point of needing the hardware reset button to regain control?!
I am regretting using GOG so much right now. I won't be able to play Cyberpunk at all as things are and I don't want to spend the money AGAIN on Steam because who knows if I will ever get a refund here...
This is what you get for being dumb and "supporting the devs". I am very sad.
Does anybody who ran into the same issue have a solution?

EDIT: If they don't reply within 2 weeks or solve the problem I will have to do this with a Paypal complaint in order to get my money back. I only have one more cheap game on GOG anyway and I am so done with these rookie coders and their platform that would put a first year coding student to shame.

EDIT2: I cannot even tell you all the bad here because they have filters that make posts simply not go through if you give an example of their support mail response...

that store here has a support ticket backlog of months, i imagine it must be even worse right now with the cyberpunk release.

you could revert to the 1.2 galaxy client or just move to steam and do the paypal thing.
I started GOG Galaxy again, it ran without ANY issues, updated Cyberpunk 2077 without any issues and everything works perfectly now... strange.

The only potential difference that could be doing this is that when I started my PC I got the dialog to customize Windows that comes after a major Windows update. Apparently there was a BIG windows update that is now finished.

I was really upset because of not being able to play or even have GOG up and now I am confused but satisfied. If I knew how to do it, I would mark this as SOLVED.
