I'am part of the beta since today. Sadly the integration of Steam is not working for me. Maybe someone of you can help me?
There where no problem to connect to Battle.net, Origin, PSN and Uplay.
When I want to connect Steam I have to enter my login credentials and the code from my phone. But after that there is just "offline retry" in the line where my username should be written. The "retry" looks like it should be clickable but there is nothing happening when I tried this.
Steam is online, my libary is visible for everyone and I dont even have the familyview activated.
What could the problem be?
feedback as a Chinese user,225MB client is very hard to download without a vpn, maybe offer a full standalone offline installer like chrome,so i can use the vpn plugin within my browser to speed up the downloading.
failed to connect to steam, failed to start.maybe caused by steamcommunity.com is banned in china while store.steampowered.com is not banned.after i turned on my vpn,it worked.
also plz fix china's game downloading speed asap, otherwise i will have to buy cyberpunk in steam
Hello, GOG, maybe show some queue status for users who still is waiting for invitation ;)

Got similar issue with steam too. It helped me to try more (in next hours). About third time - it finally worked. I think is some issue with website view
I am really worried about the promise of GOG Galaxy 2 lately. My concern is not at all with the capabilities of the GOG development team, but more on the other platform holders. GOG Galaxy 2 relies solely on the level of API and how frequent the vender allows to use it. From the looks of things in the beta recently, the API is not upto the standard for this thing to to comfortablely stand in the middle of all launchers. For e.g. lately steam info like games, game time, achievements and games added are not sent back to gog galaxy immediately or in a few minutes. Sometimes you have to wait a day or even 2 for it to work well. Batlte.net today stopped working entirely as for some reason it refuses to login from the gog galaxy.

I really hope vendors see reason behind this noble cause and open up the API more whitelist gog so it can use more API calls.

Is there a way to add:

- a completely standalone DRM-free game?
- an emulator?
- a game that came from a CD or DVD?
- an MMO launcher?
- a mod launcher?
- idk... something like MS Paint or Calculator?

I'd really like twitch support, many games are given away with prime on there. I would also like the ability to add your own programs/games, with perhaps a database to scrape from or to provide our own metadata. This is because there are so many community-made games that aren't official.
Will adding your Xbox Live account eventually cover 360 and OG Xbox games? Currently it seems to only pull game time for Xbox One titles.
I wonder if anyone has started selling invites on Ebay yet.
I know that Battle.net and Epic Games Store apps doesn't support any kind of game time tracking, but I was hoping GOG Galaxy 2.0 would cover it and track the time upon launching a game from it :(
Uplay shows up as connected but the games don't show up in my library. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my account as well as restarting Galaxy and my computer twice and still nothing.
who needs to get invited for the beta ?

Here are some things I noticed/want added:

- Right now, 150+ games are not showing up through Steam integration. Titles range from smaller indies (i.e. Celestial Hacker Girl Jessica), higher profile indies (i.e. Return of the Obra Dinn, FTL, Don't Starve), to somewhat older AAA (i.e. Enslaved, LA Noire, Resident Evil titles). Also, a couple of the games not showing up are demos (there is one that's showing) and betas/early access titles through Steam.

- Wish there was custom list-making already, basically will be the prime reason I'll be using this haha.

- As others have noticed, duplicates in the "All Games" page is a problem. When they're dealt with, having a game page with all the platforms you own the game on would be nice so you wouldn't have to search through your platforms on the main page.

- Some organization is weird compared to Steam. For example, A Story About My Uncle is listed under A instead of S, The Darkness II is under T instead of D, etc.

- Some DLC for games are being listed as their own titles. Examples I've seen are A Hat in Time's Seal the Deal DLC and costumes/relic packs for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

- Twitch and Discord integration would be much appreciated. Manually adding games would also be great.

EDIT: Weird, but just noticed 1 of the missing games (Democracy 3) appeared as recently added so maybe it takes a while to fully carry over? Also noticed I can't seem to access the wishlist, can see some wishlisted games when I access an empty cart but can't click on any.

I have had some similar problems as you.

It was actually some GOG games did not show up at first, which is kind of surprising. I recommend you list what you can within reason with the Feedback option. Coincidental maybe, but the games I spotted as having been missing got resolved after my email.

The naming was inconsistant as well, both within GOG's internal listings, and listings where I had doubles, such as SimCity™ 2000 Special Edition on GOG vs. SimCity 2000™ Special Edition on Origin. The metatags on both games are different, as well. I doubt this being GOG's fault.

Taking away the tm's and (c)'s in the titles brought me great joy, however, and I will absolutely be using Galaxy 2.0 for my organizational needs. Many "<videogame>, The" 's became "The <videogame>" 's because that's how I roll. Also many colons are there where there were hyphens, and franchises are getting neatly organized (will improve with advanced tagging) and roman numerals are number numbers. This is very inelegant but it makes more sense to stupid old me. Sold! as and aside, I've love a combined search option to sort for Franchise + Release Date at the same time. a combined search for Developer or Publisher + Release Date would be pretty choice as well.

I have Lisa: The Painful and Lisa: The Joyful DLC on Steam and they were listed as two different games.

ok, that's all I can think of
