Another suggestion: I always do manual updating. I like reviewing the changelogs to see what's new and having some feedback about what games have some available update (as in the older version of Galaxy). There's nothing of it right now and the manual updating procedure is quite messy. I hope you'll fix it anyway. Drawbacks of being a tester :)
I'm not sure if I missed something, but connecting to UPlay created some odd results. For starts, the only Assassin's Creed game I had was Assassin's Creed 3, which is listed twice (both in UPlay). However, I didn't start seeing Odyssey and Unity until after I logged into UPlay to verify my library.
Beta user here, and I have a few suggestions.

1. Add controller support to the UI. The interface is mostly driven by mouse, whereas with something like Steam big picture, it's entirely made to run well with a controller, and even offer support for non-Xbox controllers. I think the interface would already work pretty well with a controller, it just needs to add the option.

2. I'd guess there's no plan to have full Steam input-level controller mapping across every game launched, but perhaps you could make it so that if you launch a game that isn't a Steam one through Galaxy, it automatically treats the controller as an Xbox one, similar to how DS4Windows might, to make more controller types compatible with playing controller games through Galaxy.

3. Add a filter to search for controller compatible games, perhaps with an extra option to include all Steam games, because Steam input technically allows controller support in every title.
I really like the GOG platform, really want to participate in this test, I will abide by your agreement, please let me get the test qualification, thank you!
man i hope a lot more get in soon, thread is kind of dead and no one barely talking about their experience so far or even suggestions for improvement.
The expansion pack for Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, Mysteries of the Sith, no longer shows up in my GOG Library. I already had it installed and I can still run it from the start menu shortcut which will then bring it up in GOG Galaxy 2.0.
Hey guys, good job with the launcher! The state of it is impressive since it's beta.

I noticed the launcher creates a bookmark of each platform automatically, but I can't order them by any order I want. I think this would be a cool feature

It might as well be that those with access simply used the built in report functions to tell the team about bugs and missing features.
Beta user here, and I have a few suggestions.

I'd like to see these features added:
1. Support for Family-Shared games on Steam.
2. Better achievements detection for the Steam platform, I have over 1,000,000 achievements accumulated there but Galaxy 2.0 barely detects 4,506 achievements of them.
3. A "Sync now" button on every game page or platform, so we can manually sync whenever we get more progress done. That's what most achievement tracking websites are using and it's a huge help whenever Steam has server issues or a game couldn't be found because of several issues (Removed Games, Family-Shared Games, Banned Games etc).
4. A feature to compare your game's achievements progress with other friends.
5. A feature to see which friends own the same game as yours, so you can ask them for help in Multiplayer.
6. PSN achievements support for DLCs. (DLCs on PS4 show on separate pages from main game and you can track them individually, I would like this implemented here as well.)
7. Maybe a feature/page dedicated for users to create game sessions, and find help on grinding the multiplayer of a game section together with other users?
8. Support for tracking Windows 10 games. (Xbox Live won't detect Asphalt 9, a game which I played on Windows 10 and earned several achievements in. Maybe a bug?)
9. A feature to let you know how many games you own/have on every platform. Right now, it only counts games in these categories: "All games" and "Installed".
10. A "shortcut" button for achievements/game pages that would redirect you on Google, for example: "Murdered: Soul Suspect Trophy Guide". A huge time saver!

Bugs found so far:
1. There are several games in which achievements progress don't sync correctly. Says I have 72% when I really have only 54% progress done.
Screenshots attached below.
2. There are several games where it just won't detect/snatch achievements automatically. Maybe a button to manually sync achievements could help fixing this issue?
Screenshots attached below.
3. On PSN it detects that I have 60% progress in The Last of Us, but it won't let me see the trophies I haven't unlocked yet. Only what I accumulated until now.
4. After around a hour of use, my Steam plugin crashed and it remained in "Connecting..." until I restarted GOG Galaxy.
5. Every time I restart the launcher, an "Importing..." shows up on screen, rechecking all the games in the library and it takes a while (~3 minutes) before the launcher becomes usable. Maybe save them locally and only check for new entries if the player explicitly asks? I only have around 2k games right now. Re-checking libraries over 6-10k games would probably take 2-5x more time.

I would love it if 2.0 doesn't enforce installation of GOG Galaxy Helper on macOS

Currently if I deny its install permission prompt, Galaxy tells me "Essential components are missing" and shutdown.

I never needed this helper with GOG Galaxy 1.x: game update just fine, saves upload just fine.

I would love Galaxy team to clarify what it does this time around.

Hi i have a suggestion: Downloads should have an entire tab for a better experience with downloads.
Nice useful app so far I am liking it. My one issue and it is very minor and may be a little nit-picky: the box art for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc displays the PS Vita version. I don't know if there exists a PC version box art but that is what stood out to me. Again though, great app I like the progress

I think the key to this is when you launch a game from another plataform you dont want to launch another program
I still haven't got my invitation even though I signed up the same day it was announced...

I have over 3,000 games across all platforms to test the new client with. Let me play around!
