There's still lots of holes in recognizing games, as they either don't get shown, or they get assigned to the wrong database entry, or their info is non-existent. Is this all done just by GOG staff? I'd like to lend a hand, even suggest that you use MobyGames' API for non-GOG games (I say that as an active admin on the site).

I also suggest the IGDB which has a fairly accessible database API as well.

I just happen to be an admin on the former. If any game info is wrong on the site, I can change it. Our strong side are older games, but we can also scrape Steam/PSN/Switch titles quickly.
