It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Tags and bookmarks (while clunky) work well enough to organise game collections into categories of your choosing. I currently have a select few including 'Backlog', 'Multiplayer', 'Party' and 'VR'.

There are already a few threads requesting the ability to better add tags to games, especially multiple games at once so that's covered but I think the actual side bar where the bookmarks sit could do with some love.

As it stands, they are awkwardly sit in a list with no real structure. There's a plethora of game libraries there by default depending on what you connect, plus any custom tags you bookmark. It quickly becomes a mess.

My suggestion is to add a drop-down folder structure to the list. Have the ability to group a set of bookmarks together. They would appear indented with a top level category, which you could then click to minimize. You could have different categories for platforms: 'PC', 'Console' and then 'Collections' or something for your custom stuff.

I currently have an awkward workaround using two tags that are literally just a bunch of dashes to act as separation lines:
