Why do the website say "GOG GALAXY 2.0 Open Beta requires Mac OS X 10.14 or newer." and then after installation it requires 10.15?

They might've bumped up the requirements and forgot to update the site. Since I already had ticket 1335728 open about various issues with info on the site, I also added a mention of this.

is there a reason why people wouldnt update from 10.14 to 10.15?

why = because some staffer in an office is in charge of keeping the web site up and the fastest way to do that is just copy \ paste details without testing them

Gog offers a $ back so don't care about people trying to load software\ games onto old systems

Just to be clear, its not just Mac but all of the system requirements that are a total joke, Windows 11 will block many of the games and Windows 7 doesn't have the network files needed to play games listed as working on it

phone it in effort is all you get from the company but the people are nice here
