I reinstalled it and literally let 500gb of space in my HDD. It worked! Hope you guys are able to play soon. Just be patient

got it working. uninstall and did a clean install on my ssd(dont thin this was necessary), game started right up. LETS GOOOOO

It did not 'unfuck' itself. And I'd give them slack if they didn't repeatedly delay a game. They've had literal years to prepare the launch. This is silly.

I’ve been been stuck at 56% for 3 hours now and I’ve reinstall the update game like 5 times already and it’s pissing me off. This is why I should of got it on steam! I wanted to help out the devs but they should of taken care of these things, because they have a whole extra year of developing the game even though the game should of been release in April and the game has been develop since 2012 or 2011. This is so dumb and I’m so pissed at the creators they should of solve this and fix it before launch. Don’t they have protocols? Or test runs on all platforms?

I was stuck at 92% twice. After the 1st attempt, I restarted Galaxy and the update restarted at about 56% and then stuck again at 92%. I did have to clear out another 20Gbs of space, so should have enough by now. I've uninstalled the entire thing and am starting from scratch. (Currently at 66% of installing the base game.)
One mistake I might need to correct later is to change the download folder to a different drive altogether. That's likely where the roadblock is happening.

It's not stuck, it downloads to 56% then stops downloading as it applies a patch. This takes time. In my case about an hour. Then it downloads more, up to 88% then stops to update. Then it downloads to 92% then makes the final update. That took over an hour for me. Then it completes.

Not perfect I know but don't think it hangs. It's like it's installing 3 patches not 1, stopping at 56%, 88% then 92%.

I think more information should have been provided to warn about these hold points as it looks like the download hangs.

It has been stuck @ 90% for the past 4 hours. GOG downloaded the 9 gig file. It is just taking forever to apply the patch. I was expecting to play this morning. This is very aggravating. What is going on here GOG? Patches shouldn't take this long.

I'm trying to install the patches. It gets to 91%, then crashes. It starts back at 90% every time I try to resume installing it.

I've been between 70% and 81% since this morning, downloading/patching since 5pm on the 9th. I don't know what to do anymore but let this ride, but wowie some of the excitement has been squeezed by thinking if I can just wait out an hour or two I'll be able to jump in.

My game still takes 60 ish GB. When i press "check for updates" nothing happens. The total game is over 100 gb with the patch right ?

I'm trying to install this game a second day xD. I'll play it maybe in January...
