If my understanding is correct, Steam and Galaxy are basically custom web browsers with game management features right? Yet both these clients are missing 2 fundamental features that ALL web browsers support, Tabs and Scaling.
I would like to be able to middle click on any link or thumbnail to open it in a new tab in Galaxy instead of opening that link in my default browser. This would make using the Galaxy store so much better. If I am checking out a list of games like the "Made in Poland" sale, I hate having to always go to the store page for that game then go back with the back button then start at the top of the list only to scroll back down to what I was last looking at and then repeat until I have finished looking at the list.
TABS!!!
Next would be text scaling using Ctrl+mouse wheel which is a feature that Firefox and Chrome and nearly every other web browser has but that Steam and Galaxy lacks. At least add a font size options to the Galaxy client as an alternative.
I have my PC connected to my 65" TV and by default, everything appears really tiny. This always happens with every TV I have used. I use the Windows desktop scaling to help but in some applications, text can be too hard to read. More and more people are gaming with a TV instead of a monitor and I think adding text scaling is a small improvement that can go a long way.
