Two Worlds, Earth 2100s series, Knights and Merchants, and other top Topware classics 60% off

[url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/jack_orlando_a_cinematic_adventure_dc]Jack Orlando is one of those adventure game characters that are a little bit obscure, but people that had the pleasure of meeting them, remember them very fondly. He's a private investigator that has seen better days, but now is down on his luck and looks for some relief in the whiskey bottle a little too often. Stains on his trademark trench coat suggest that he spent yet another night dozing off in some back alley, too drunk to get home from the bar, too broke to get a cab. But he's one of the good guys. He's actually the one to show some moral fiber in the city that consumes the poor, corrupts the innocent, and spits out the weak. Too bad he ended up in a wrong place at the wrong time and got accused of murder. With only 48 hours to clean his name, Jack has to solve his toughest case yet. Come on, help the guy out. It'll cost you only $2.39 to get the Director's Cut version of his story in our Topware Classics promo.

Or would you rather take a plunge into a fantastic realm quite different than our reality? The magical land you'll be visiting in Two Worlds: Epic edition should easily satisfy all your escapism needs with its vast and lush gameworld, visuals that remain quite impressive even today, and a well-told story that often lets you digress from its main thread. The Epic Edition we offer you, comes bundled with the game's both expansions: Tainted Blood and Curse of Souls. Yours for only $3.59!

Fantasy not really your thing? Well, how about some hard science fiction, then? Earth 2140 Trillogy, Earth 2150 Trillogy, Earth 2160--or the Earth 21-something series, as we like to call it--offer top-notch RTS gameplay in a gritty futuristic setting, at $2.39 each! But, of course, that's not all of the excellent titles you can find 60% off in our Topware Classics Promo this weekend, so head out to the promo page and pick your favorites. The offer lasts until Tuesday, April 2, at 4:59AM GMT.

As usual, below you'll find a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

Hey, where is everyone? It's been 4 minutes already.
Also: decent promo but already got everything I'm interested in.

Hint has me baffled. First thought was King's Bounty: Warriors of the North, but I somehow doubt that counts as a classic. Second thought was "Prisoner of Ice", but doubt there are many strategic things there.

So, speculation?
Northland?

Watching the video, then pondering the hint. Especially since I don't really have any recommendations for this weekend's promo.

Funny. I had the exact same thoughts and came to the exact same conclusions. ^^
Have no idea what it could be.

I was already done with that when I posted, I had even already spent a minute or two deciphering your hint for the next classic release. Alas, with no success.

Don't get your hopes up, you probably WILL end up disappointed. I also recalled Earth 2140 as a pretty good game (talking about the original DOS version of course), I recently gave it another serious try and was shocked. I knew that it wasn't ever a great masterpiece but heck, compared to say KKND, Dark Reign and other C&C clones of its time it fares REALLY bad.

To back up what was previously posted, I've played that 2150 trilogiy till I was blue in the face when it was still pretty new and back then it was great but it really doesn't hold up to some other RTS games. That being said, at that price I still consider them MUST HAVES for any RTS junky.

I however have a few questions of my own.

Enclave looks beyond amazing but I've heard it can be REALLY hard and has a shit save system, and yes I'm a candy, I like a lot of saves.

Last week I accidentally confused Anochronox with Septerra Core when moaning about anime. That's not a question but an aplogy. :)

Gorky 17. TBS? Party based? Who? Huh? I can't find anything on this bad boy. Help?

and how is Dream Pinball on specs? It looks a little visually intense and one place who can't spare on FPS it's PINBALL! :P

Really? Because I remember playing it before (the terrible XP version) and I really liked many of the things that were in this game. Now I just want the DOS version to battle against thinking enemy.

But I haven't played KKND nor Dark Reign so I coudln't lnow.
Nice promo, already have the titles I want.

And regarding next weeks's hint, maybe is Saga: Rage of the Vikings from Cryo?
