Hunt for the golden idols in GOG.com screenshots!

EDIT: Hi! We no longer accept entries. Please give us some time to figure out what to do with the flood of correct answers!

Spelunky is all about exploring and treasure hunting. We know everyone loves looking for hidden treasures, so we thought we did something special to celebrate the game's launch. We propose a scavenger hunt, and you'll need to go deep into our game catalog to find what you're looking for. You may call it website spelunking! We've hidden 10 golden idols iconic to Spelunky on the screenshots for some of the indie games on GOG.com website. That's ten indie games, each with one golden idol hidden in one of the screenshots. Whoever finds all of them and submits the description of their exact locations to contest@gog.com, get's a chance to win one of the 10 amazing Spelunky Minis!

First come, first served. You'll need to act fast! The models will be selected at random and sent to the winners via mail (worldwide). Each figurine will come bundled with a bonus code for a $9.99 GOG.com game, that will be sent via e-mail, so that you get this feeling of accomplishment while you wait for the package ;-) Hint: you should pay special attention to the games of the following developers/publishers: Wadjet Eye Games, Amanita Design, Snowbird Games, and Basilisk Games. Good luck, and have fun!

One of these was super hard to find because it blended into the background so well. I actually found it by accident!
"Huh... that little spot kinda looks like one. *looks back to the contest page* ...sweet!" XD

Not sure if I have a chance at getting it, but even if a bunch of people had already submitted the correct results, it was still fun to play.
Is the contest over? :/
Found them. ^_^

That was fun. XD

Some of them are hidden in really tricky spots. ;)
Very fun, I am having a blast combing through the screenshots. Not participating in this contest, just testing my scavenger skills.
Well, that was easy =\ I assume this is all over now?
A few hours ago I found all of the hidden pictures, composed an email with answers and sent it to GOG. I just checked my email and realized I have sent just the first 3 answers. I don't know what exactly went wrong. I guess I didn't copy the entire text.

I feel very smart right now:)
<3 Pax (never went though :()

Sent email. Can't wait for update, those minis make me smile.
^would be nice to buy the 10-set for 40$, but I rather buy gog.com games~!

ps. I seen a half-dozen pictures that would of been way better for this challenge, then the few bad ones.
Done and done. The ambiguity makes me nervous, but I'm sure GOG wouldn't be so cruel to make people who were asleep when this started have no chance. I'm sure it's a draw. Hopefully.
Man, they shouldn't do this "do it first or get lost". Can't get motivation to do this this way.
Whatever, gonna play some games now.
Probably too late, but sent an entry anyway.

I agree. It really sucks for people in a less than optimal time zone, or who were at work (where they wouldn't be able to look at pictures on game sites over and over again, etc). Still, some of the wording seems ambiguous, so maybe there's still hope. It doesn't give everyone a fair shot when it's the first ten people, though. If this is the way they intend to do future contests, it's going to discourage a lot of people from participating because they'll know when they get off work that the prizes had already been snatched hours before.
You had to do this on a school day? :-(
Sounds like a fun challenge, but I am very possibly too late. I was starting on the challenge but I can't go on... stupid lightning/thunder storm is going on and I am on borrowed time X.x.

I am very curious to know if the GOG staff will post the "solutions" when the contest is all and truly over, much as I want to continue this, I'd be keen to know which ones I missed after trying it out for a bit, and I imagine maybe a few others might want a peek too if they failed and felt curiosity as I.
I couldn't do this earlier; I hope it isn't too late. :/

Even though the contest is probably done now, I may try to search for the idols tomorrow, if the photos are still up by then. Those minis lok col, as well. Good luck to all who entered!
