Are there any games that were so bad, so bloody awful that their very existence should be forever wiped from the collective memories of everyone? Games that should never, ever be considered a GOOD old game? I can think of a fair few:
Destiny of the Doctors
Enter The Matrix
Daikatana
Star Trek: Legacy
Master of Orion 3
Command & Conquer: Renegade
Renegade wasn't that bad, the multiplayer especially. I remember playing it quite a bit.

Strip away the C&C branding and you are left with a very outdated and generic shooter. I picked up the C&C First Decade pack and Renegade looks more dated than any other game including the original C&C.
Naaah... I actually think that those horrible games must be preserved; Consider it as lessons for future developers on how to NOT make a game.
Just curious, what's wrong with Master of Orion 3 ?

It removed a lot of the strategy and pretty much what made Master of Orion great. Classic example of a series going out on a whimper rather than a bang.

If developers really learned from past errors, then why does Sega still make 3D Sonic games?
Because some gamers never learn.

Why does almost every licensed game get the developers thinking "What would be really good would be a platform/scrolling beat-em-up". These are just questions man will never learn the answers to.
There ar plenty:
Restricted Area
Space Pirates
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Nibiru: Age of Secrets
Viva Pinata
...

Well at least they've learned something. But it took them over a decade to get it.

I'm not crazy about Nibiru either, but i don't think it falls under the "so bloody awful that its very existence should be forever wiped from the collective memories of everyone" ;)
I think it's more a 'Meh...' kind of game. Nice graphics though.

Gaming is very subjective - Just some titles that Jumped into my head
