Here's your weekly Message From GOG!

It's Friday! Let's get the party started. Take two warriors (one of them may be a ninja), some magic-user, a healer and so on. There, a great party! A party of bold adventurers, that is, who will follow your lead through Wizardry 6+7 and Wizardry 8. That's going to be a busy weekend for RPG fans--or a couple dozen weekends. Still, since it's Friday, here's a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

This Week on GOG episode 28

That's it from us today. Check out our action-packed FPS Flashbomb promo, and have a nice weekend and get Wizzy with it!

mondo84: If this month was Mind-Blowing May, what will the next be?

I nominate Jaw-Dropping June.
Jaw-dropping or not, it can't help but be anti-climactic after Mind-Blowing May. I can't believe we got Wizardry!!! That even beats System Shock 2 for me. And I was already reeling from some of the really cool indies this month plus Anvil of Dawn. And Chaos Overlords is going to make it into May too! Unbelievable!

Think I need a calming tea and a lie down before I exclamation point again...

!!!!!!!
TeT sounds sexy and he knows it.
And I thought the "guess the release" of next week would be Chaos Engine. Part 2 came out in 1996 (and thus fits the 17 years hint) but strangely enough the second game only got a CBM Amiga release, no DOS/Windows port (in contrary to the first game from 1993). But tbh Chaos Overlords would also be a very good addition so all is fine.

Instabuy btw on Wizardry 6+7. I'm still hesitating a bit on entry #8 due to the price tag but it will be on my wishlist for sure. Really great job from the GOG team in getting the games on here. There are still a couple of great CRPGs that aren't available here or anywhere else (like Dungeon Master or the Eye of the Beholder Trilogy), but I'm very happy with GOGs work so far this year. Keep it up!

But as we are reaching a point where nearly all major CRPGs of old are present here, we could use some more FPS, racing games and simulations. I don't know how well those old school simulations sell on GOG, but I would really like to see some more of the Microprose titles.
