Lots of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to GOG.com, DRM-free in 2014. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of distributing this title, as we believe that CD Projekt RED is about to make history with this one. A vast and detailed open world, dark and rich atmosphere, dynamic tactical combat, and excellent mature writing the series is well known for--everything about it sounds simply perfect. Understandably, every RPG fan is getting more and more anxious to play the third Witcher game, us included! Alas, just like everyone else, we have to wait. There is, however, a simple way to sneak a peek at how the game looks in action. Namely, we can all watch this VGX special trailer, made mainly out of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt VGX Trailer

Remember: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available DRM-free on GOG.com in 2014. We'll be keeping you updated on all developments in this matter.

Instant pre-order. I am so excited for this game!!!
I'm ready ! I just finished again the previous ones recently with the last patches and all ! Bring it on already !

Sidenote : my final opinion is that I prefer the first Witcher on more aspects .... and that annoys me a little regarding the upcomming one.
I simply cannot express how excited I am about this game. Most excitement over a game release ever? Possibly.
I wonder what specs are going to be needed for it to run as good as possible. Although since it also will be in console version, probably the computer upgrade won't be that hefty by the time it comes out.
I can't wait for this game. No doubt it will be one of the best games of that year *keeps wallet open to spend money* O_O
They should make the pre-order exclusive to GOG, have the game launch on Steam/Gamersgate etc but you can only pre-order it on GOG, good way to attract more people to sign up and become customers here

EDIT: Also advertise that you get a much of extras if you buy on GOG, not available on other distributors

Sensible. But sometimes what we see and hope... GOG doesn't for whatever reason....
In all honesty, they really should make the pre order exclusive to GOG AND the extra goodies including soundtrack (they can sell the soundtrack later on Steam etc but please.. make this a GOG exclusive.. so many fricking times new games come to gog and the soundtrack is almost never included).

Some wont agree but i wouldnt complain if the game was also sold at a premium on other sites.

Of course the soundtrack will be here, Witcher 2's was on release wasn't it?

My only concern is how good this game looks... I want my PC to be able to handle it :(
I don't think my actual pc is going to handle it, but I already knew that I had to change some parts in order to play some new games.

I agree with the fact that they really should make a GOG exclusive pre-order thing or at least promote the fact that GOG version will have a lot more extras =)

Anubis1980: Just hope they don't include ubersampling as a display option. Multiple upgrades later and I *still* can't get it to run smoothly. ;_;
Come on, I think CDPR was just trolling with that option. They aren't really expecting anyone to use it. :)

Does it even enhance the visual quality at all anyway?

First time I hear of this. All the other options sounded equally cryptic, so it wasn't that obvious.

Well that's my theory anyways, considering it seems to slow down the graphics so much, without almost any, if any, discernible visual improvement (as far as I could tell at least).

Well, this page shows improvement in a zoomed picture, so I guess if you have a SLI setup or something, why not:

I'm so hyped for this game! I haven't been this excited for a game in years ... I just have nothing that can play it :( I need to start saving up
If they put some decent work into optimization for PC, it shouldn't be too bad.
TW2 already having very high requirement.
hope TW3 is not a hardware killer following Total wars footsteps , really sad if it cannot run on average pc.
