Lots of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to GOG.com, DRM-free in 2014. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of distributing this title, as we believe that CD Projekt RED is about to make history with this one. A vast and detailed open world, dark and rich atmosphere, dynamic tactical combat, and excellent mature writing the series is well known for--everything about it sounds simply perfect. Understandably, every RPG fan is getting more and more anxious to play the third Witcher game, us included! Alas, just like everyone else, we have to wait. There is, however, a simple way to sneak a peek at how the game looks in action. Namely, we can all watch this VGX special trailer, made mainly out of in-game footage!

Looks glorious.
I usually hate pre-orders, because it's really a stupid idea.

However, I trust CD PROJEKT RED to deliver a great game (unlike a certain other RPG developer) Also, it's drm free. I'm eagerly awaiting the pre-order page! :)
This one will be pre-ordered (and Cyberpunk 2077 later too)
This time, please, complete traslation in Italian.(The Witcher 2 only text).

cj13810: I know I am going to get a bunch of back lash for this but this game is going to be the reason to get a next gen console if you cant afford a pc. Especially if you are waiting a year to get one.
If I was in a hurry to start playing the game, maybe. :) I'm yet to play Witcher 1-2 (other than barely trying them out to see how they run), which I've had for a couple of years already. And so many other games to play before Witcher 3, by the time I get to it it is probably considered to run on medium range PCs. :)

I'll preorder it though, same for Cyberpunk 2077. After all, I bought Witcher 1-2 long before I had a PC that could run them ok.

Schnuff: Thats a sure buy....for my console, don't think that my PC can handle the game :(
As long as you buy a PS4 or XBone. :) Or is there a PS3/XBox360 version coming too?

I wish you could share more of the gameplay, if not now, early next year.
Dear Witchers, little question - after playing couple of hours (3 maybe) I found The Witcher 1 boring and I couldn't enjoy playing it at all. Is there any chance that The Witcher 2 will be for me?
Shut up and take my money!
Think I'm going to take a chance on the steam version since they normally give GOG codes anyway

I found the gameplay of Witcher 1 tedious as well, and only forced myself through it for the excellent story.

The Witcher 2 gameplay might have been not as good as in many other games, but it was decent and after the initial frustration in the beginning, it never made me want to stop playing the game.

That would be awsome if there was a ps3 version coming out. Though I still want to play the witcher 2 first (Dont have a 360 or good enough pc)

I just know that once I got to the 3rd or 4th chapter I could not put it down

P1na: I was going to ask what VGX is, but I don't really mind. And if I did there was still google. Either way, what matters is that I won't be playing the witcher 3 on this computer, and probably for the next several years it will be getting digital dust on my GOG shelf. And I still will probably happily buy it on release, we need more games like this.
It will probably be the same for me, too. But I'll maybe just wait for a discount, I mean, this is GOG - we'll probably get it half off or something :P

to be honest I didn't enjoy W2, thought it was more scripted. combat system is not that different imo and leveling system is not too different. I'm not too eager about 3 after playing 2, if you catch 2 on a sale then go for it although if you didn't like the 1st or you don't enjoy the genre then not worth trying imo

I hope graphics optimization won't be so bad as 2 narrative was weaksauce as well but it's a good thing it'll be on GOG <3

Paul_cz: Just put it up for preorder already!

And retail Collector's too, dammit.
Instabuy for collectors.
It´s irony that I´m telling that I will not buy it on the plattform of it´s developer---and that I´m telling this on the same website.

Anyways, there are still some games left I simply have to buy in Retail Collectors Edition and Witcher III is one of them.
Discount or not,
This is a preorder or day one purchase for me.

Release that game already, damnit ;p
