I suppose I don't entirely mind, but I can't help thinking that it's like "punishing" people for purchasing it here, as well as a dastardly attempt to make more money. :(

(If real that is.)

Those are links to an officially sanctioned Wiki. So...
Now that is going too far. And that is why I ordered from GoG.com, not Steam.

I consider it an insult more to TW art style than the TF2 one.

What the fuck.
I don't play TF2 so no big deal here. I'm not sure a few silly items is something to get upset about. Like I said in the other similar thread it's story content that I feel should never be locked away behind a pre-order code or specific store.

If they end up giving the items to GOG buyers I'll take them if you don't mind. :p
What the hell..
Promotion, promotion, promotion! :)

/care about the items
Well, at least they know how to sell their game to the TF2 item junkies who will happily put down $45 for the items and never touch the game. CDP could raise the price to $100 and these people would still buy it.

In semi-related news, I still haven't bothered pre-ordering The Witcher 2 from anywhere...
When Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse had pre-order TF2 items, Valve allowed Telltale to hand out redemption codes for those who purchased from Telltale directly.
The sword being for the Scout is surprising, I would have thought Demoman (again).
You know people i just don't get it.

How anyone can be mad about one sword or merchant ?

All ex DLC are considered as booster to your character and i would dladly choose not to have version with boosted anything....

And how it is wrong to have items from witcher in TF2 ?

IT's not like they cut that from TW2 and give it to TF2 ...

FTFY
what the HELL are you talking about.

You have additional free goodies on GoG, a FREE RPG game as a bonus and you're whining about some stupid hat in TF2...?
