I swear, sometimes I think GOG has the worst community, like, ever. I'm very happy to see these releases here. VVVVVV is a great game and is absolutely worth your time. Same thing with Time, Gentlemen, Please and Escape Goat. Can't say that I've played any of Smudged Cat's stuff, but I guess this promo is aimed at people like me, then.

Also, don't like these games? Play the two free ones you got, like, a week a go.

Nice! I've been considering Shuggy and Gateways for a while now, but I try to wait for indies to show up on GOG these days. So this is great! I already have played the other three, but for a $ extra I don't mind adding them to my GOG account :D

-Ben There, Dan That/Time Gentlemen, Please: ok. The first one is pretty short and kind of underwhelming. The second one is nice though.
-Escape Goat: platformer with small puzzle/challenge-like levels. Really liked it (and you play a purple goat)
-VVVVVV: all I remember is bright colors, amazing music, gravity shifting and this very long fall through a tunnel of spikes you had to make somewhere to get a thing, and that I tried for more than an hour before I succeeded. Pretty great :D

Re buying this collection here without question. Adventures of Shuggy, Escape Goat and Ben there Dan that are all really good games in my eyes. So having them all together here is a no brainer.
Even the price right now is right for all these games. Good on GOG.

For the people who keep complaining "Who doesn't have these games already?"...

I don't. :^P Funny that, considering I have bought most Humble Indie Bundles before. So maybe you guys are just overestimating how many people really buy each and every time-limited "Jubilee Indie Gumble Bundle Royal Rumbles" that have been out there. You must be some kind of freaks if you run after each and every obscure indie bundle out there on the internets.

Then again, I can't really tell if I want those games either, I don't recognize any of them. I think I have _heard_ about VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV before, though. Probably in GOG wishlist. Maybe I'll buy them, let's see.

I already own everything except Gateways. Will rebuy the games here though just to support GOG and the developers. At least Escape Goat, Time Gentlemen, Please and VVVVV are great games that should be played by everyone.

Point Man: For me, the more games i can transfer over (buy again) from other places to GOG, especially Steam, the better. I just know that more games on GOG = more DRM free games in the world. Even if some of these games were already DRM free in other places, i'd still rather have them in my GOG library :).

Each game looks pretty unique in its own right, Time Gentlemen, Please/Ben There, Dan That definitely has my interest piqued. I might pick it up today, but that will depend on The Raven's price (it's bound to be released today, isn't it?).
I'd like to second benmar's remark - Cthulhu Saves The World would be a fine addition to GOG's indie catalogue.

Bought the whole pack for the adventure game alone. I mean, it's less than 5$ so what's not to like?

As someone already pointed out, the more DRM-free games out there the better. I can't do anything about that other than supporting GOG with my wallet.

Off topic, but speaking of Indies, if any GOG reps are reading this thread, it would be nice if you could bring Underrail here to GOG. Looks like an interesting DRM free RPG that's in alpha stage right now on 3 other digital distributors.

Hmm. Probably some good games in here, but I have a problem: since GOG has decided to become an indie game sales platform, but without Linux support, my reaction to a promo like this is to go look at what Humble Bundle has to offer. And that looks better right now.
I'm just offering this as feedback from someone who used to be a regular customer here.

Just something important I'd like to point out:

The way this promo works, you'll pay $4.96 when buying four games, while for the complete pack of five you'll pay $4.95. It makes absolutely no sense to get just for, unless you really DON'T want a particular title in your shelf.

As usual, in this stacking promo all the titles you own, count towards the final discount. But be warned: should you get four games first and then get the last missing one, you'll pay $4.96 + $0.99, while if you get them in bulk, it'll be only $4.95.

Just a word of warning ;-)

I think it is mainly the steam-lovers who are being cranky again, so maybe it is the "Steam community" who is bitching, again. So they bought these games as Steam keys before from elsewhere? Tough, their choice. No one forced them, yet they did. :)

Anyway, I bought this bundle now. $5 price for these games sounded agreeable to me, at least as I don't have any of these games before.
