The special offer lasts for the first week, that is until Tuesday, October 1, at 9:59AM GMT. After that, the games will be priced at--you guessed it--$5 each. Enough talk, let's get down to business and get a closer look at the Super 5 Promo releases!

The Adventures of Shuggy trailer video

In the puzzle-platformer genre The Adventures of Shuggy stands out with the multitude of cleverly designed stages and diverse mechanics involving gravity shifting and time manipulations. Don't let the cute artwork fool you, and get ready for some challenging platforming and brain-twisting!

VVVVVV trailer video

Talking 'bout challenging platforming, Terry Cavanagh's VVVVVV is difficult enough to be considered a "punishment game", but it's also so addicting, that you'll have trouble putting it down. Brilliant gravity-shifting gameplay, excellent level design, and originally presented story more than just makes up for the game's simplistic graphics. Take it for a spin! (Windows + Mac!)

Gateways trailer video

Bending the space-time continuum on the micro-scale is the theme of Gateways, a retrotastic puzzle-platformer from the devs of The Adventures of Shuggy. Master the gateway guns to travel across a room instantly, change size, walk on walls and even travel in time. (Windows + Mac!)

Escape Goat trailer video

Escape Goat is a puzzle platforming game where you take on the role of a goat who was imprisoned for witchcraft. Take heart, for a friendly magic mouse accompanies you, and he can help in the most unexpected ways. Together you must solve 50 rooms of the treacherous Prison of Agnus in order to escape. Level editor included! (Windows + Mac!)

Time, Gentlemen Please! + Ben There, Dan That!

Ben There, Dan That! and its sequel Time Gentlemen, Please! are a couple of rip-roaring point-and-click adventure games. With tongue firmly in cheek, sit back, relax, and put your mind to work solving puzzles, and reading some very funny dialogue. It's like a book, only good!

There you have it, 5 excellent new indie additions to GOG.com catalog, for a little under $5 if you get them all until Tuesday, October 1, at 9:59AM GMT. That's our Super 5 Promo, a part of GOG.com 5th birthday celebration!

Again with the stuff I shouldn't want, but it's sooooooooo cheap!
I've never even heard of any of these games.

Out of all of them , VVVVV is probably the most worth people's time - since I already got it through Humble Bundle though, I don't really need another copy.
The Adventures of Shuggy looks impressive to me, with it's graphics almost as good as splunky's, the most recent platformer which did catch my interest.

Wish-listed it for now.
The Adventures of Shuggy is overlooked gem.

You bring up a good point. There is a focus on a certain aesthetic style. I'm not clear on all of the games that GOG has rejected, and I'm still a little miffed about The Quest.

More variety would be nice, there is a lot of stuff out there, and I'm positive that not all of it is stuck in the "Steam only" territory.

That being said, I still got this pack. Seems a good way to spend an afternoon.

With such an impressive title, it must have been a great bundle - what a shame that I missed it, lol.

On a more serious note - interesting way to introduce new releases, would like to see more of this model.
I'll also say that the mediocre-but-fun artwork of the Ben and Dan games is almost inspiring in that it suggests I may still be able to create a decent p'n'c adventure with "okay" art abilities.
Solid little indie titles.
Very cool.
I've always found it interesting... plotting a graph for some stackable sales here implies they use a function f(x) where x = number of games purchased, there's a value x for which f(x) has an inflection point...

I'm sure the economic advantage to us (here, 1 cent USD, but in other cases, much more) works out to a flat percentage increase to GOG (here again, 20%) in the form of increased sales #"s and that makes both of us happy. i.e., i don't wanna ruin it for all of us.

or more mundanely put - you'd be an idiot to buy 4 of the 5 games in this bundle! i say this while considering the fact that i already own 1 elsewhere.
STOKED! Thanks soooo much GOG
Alright, GOG, you have bested me yet again.

I already had Escape Goat through Indie Game Stand and enjoyed it a lot, but I'm happy to have it on my account here.

Wafflecones: I swear, sometimes I think GOG has the worst community, like, ever. I'm very happy to see these releases here.
Well, considering how cheap these games are, people had to whine about something.

timppu: For the people who keep complaining "Who doesn't have these games already?"...
I don't.
Me either. I don't have the time nor inclination to check every game store and bundle site out there.

Escape Goat and VVVVV look like I'd enjoy them. I'll probably just buy the whole bundle as its only another $1.47 compared to just getting those two.
Nice promo, Thx GOG.

Not to bring up bad memories, but what do you mean?
