the_bard: Had I known it would integrated into Steam I wouldn't have backed it. I would've picked it up on Steam when and if felt compelled to do so. If I have to use their fucking client for anything it feels like DRM. I don't recall whether or not anything was mentioned about a GOG release or not during the campaign. I said I thought it would end up here. And I don't own an Xbox 360 so that has fuckall to do with anything going on in this thread. And since I put more money into this project than anything I had backed before, or since for that matter; I have a right to be concerned. An maybe even a little pissed off.
Most of all you should be pissed of about not properly reading their kickstarter pledge. The "news" that seem to get people up in arms is nothing but a rumor control.
They were very clear about some sort of account software /and who are we kidding, what could that have
possibly meant) and said nothing at all about GOG. You can't be pissed for them not reading your mind or anticipating your desires.
Actually, it is very kosher of them to do this kind of rumor control before the pre-orders end in a few weeks.
This whole issues seems to me that people are upset about not getting stuff they
hoped, and not about not getting stuff promised.
Crosmando: DRM = Anything less than what GOG does
Somebody call the Encyclopaedia Britannica. It is that simple.
