I thought of trying a dubstep one at first and glad I didn't after seeing PepsiDude's. Whatever I would have come up with wouldn't have even come close to that.

Omit the http:// part. Posting just youtu.be/[your movie code] should work!
Are we allowed to use other materials (RofT gameplay or music) outside of what the DIY trailer package contains?
The "all You will need" line only suggests that the provided materials are enough for a trailer, doesn't specify whether it is allowed to add more mats into it.

Edit:
Ah:

You're welcome!

For anyone having problems with the .mp4 file not loading/crashing their video editing program:
I've split the gameplay video into two halves (with a few seconds of overlap) and converted them to .wmv files. After making my video I realized that I wasn't the only one having issues with mp4, so I've uploaded these wmv files to my Dropbox.

ROTT 2013 gameplay: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92583186/Gameplay.wmv
ROTT 1994 gameplay: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92583186/Old%20Gameplay.wmv

Hope this helps anyone who wants to make a video but hasn't been able to!

I tried many different things (and endings) but I finally settled on this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSd5jTOIGjI

Here's my entry. Well, mine and my dad's. It was his idea to add the credits at the end - if this gets chosen, you should be able to remove those.

Edit: Made a little change. We're a little more proud of this one, using the second of the three provided tracks. Removed this link, will post the second one.

You rock, good guy Dafe :-D Thanks man!

Ok, two quick notes:

1. People who got their questions into the Q&A video. You'll be getting your free games within 24 hours. We're a bit understaffed right now (vacation), and I had no time to send you your prizes. Sorry!

2. As for the contest itself: there's a lot of great videos already, some of them very original and unconventional. This is a good thing! We love originality. For that sake, I'd like to state that once again: everything goes! Every crazy idea you might think of, that won't get your content blocked by YT, is fine by us. You don't have to limit yourself to game footage only!
