So i was walking in the flea market and saw some boxes fought Board Games!
But it wasn't a board game it was rent a hero with a box 2 cds and manual almost in perfect condition asked how much is it( never heard of that game thought)and the women(seller)said 2$ i said 1$ (because i didn't have alot left from buying ps1 and some games)and after a little talking i got the game for about 1.5$ tried it at my pc and it worked all fine.

So is this rent a hero a rare game or something and how much is it worth???

Minimum wage.. 6 euros per hour.. or is it seven.. For the hero of course.

And everything in flea market can be some value to some. Really haven't heard about that game either. But it's always nice find something in those places. Something useful. =)

Edit: I just ended up in some dreamcast sites with googling.

I still have a copy of the German version lying around somewhere that I would haven given away for free if I had thought anyone would actually be interest in it. Didn't know it was worth that much ... ;)

But then again it probably isn't. These prices are insane, and just because somebody asks for such a high sum doesn't mean any self-respecting gamer is actually ready to pay it for such a rarely known and (I assume) quite average point and click adventure.

You know.. propably few things would be worth something if we haven't thrown those in the trash over time.
Some people collect, some people like the money.
I collected rocks.. I still have couple.. One that has a bit gold and is striped. Other one is purple.. And it isn't even glass.. Anyway. That was a crappy hobby.

Worth? Well that depends. I guess if it's in mint condition and rare (probably is) it could be worth some money... not sure how much, but as you know, it's only worth however much others are willing to pay to get it. The perfect combination for a nice payout would be condition (high) - popularity (very known and liked) - rarity (nigh on impossible to find / usually linked with age). If your game fits at least one of those categories, it's worth something, although the best value is in rarity. Popularity just helps to make a bigger crowd when selling the game. I'd give you an estimate in a day or two, but I wouldn't want you to have your hopes up. One can go from gold to crap in a missing page in a manual or a busted box.

Some say that a minimum for an unscratched CD is five bucks. And that's still a 150% payout :)

Like coins.. If you have some old coin, they'll give you nothing if it's scratched.
